If you have time to explore, below are a few of our favorite places on the North Fork.

Dining

Pip's Café – Silver Sands' coffee shop and bakery in town.
8 Hands Farm – Farm stand known for its sandwiches and seasonal market.
Minnow at Gallery Ho – Waterfront restaurant with fresh seafood and seasonal dishes.

Beaches

North Fork beaches are naturally rocky, so we recommend water shoes or sandals.

Orient Beach State Park – Great for swimming.
67 Steps Beach – Scenic beach overlooking Gardiners Bay.

Tip: The Menhaden offers picnic baskets to go, even for non-hotel guests. Pick one up before heading to the beach. (If you see Ben, ask him about the picnic basket he planned to bring to Nantucket.)

Vineyards

Croteaux – Provence-style rosé. Walk-ins welcome.
McCall Wines – Estate wines. Reservations recommended.

Greenport

If you have the chance, spend some time exploring Greenport. From local shops to waterfront restaurants, it is one of our favorite towns on the North Fork.

What should I wear?

The dress code for the wedding is Beach Formal. We recommend midi or floor-length dresses for women and suits for men. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on the sand, so we suggest footwear suited for the beach. Evenings on the water can be cool, so you may want to bring a light sweater or wrap.

Are children invited?

While you will see one very special flower girl, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.

Will transportation be provided?

Transportation will be provided on Friday and Saturday to and from the hotels listed in our recommended accommodations. Shuttle schedules and pickup locations will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.
